Yes, we are able to special order any piece of jewelry from any designer we carry.

I like a piece of jewelry I see on your website but it is shown in white gold and I prefer yellow gold. Can it be made in other metals?

Yes, most jewelry can be made in a variety of metal types and colors. We can contact the designer to confirm the price and availability of your request.

Can the necklace / ring / bracelet I like on your site be sized for me?

Yes, if you would like your jewelry modified or ordered in a special size, we can easily do so. Depending on the style of the piece, additional charges may apply. Please contact us directly with specific inquiries.


I see a ring setting that I like on your website. How do I go about purchasing a diamond to go with it?

Please visit our store for a complimentary diamond education with one of our diamond experts. They will guide you through the diamond selection process and will curate a collection of diamonds for you to choose from.

I already have a diamond. Can I still purchase a ring setting from you?Yes, whether you’re looking to remount an older diamond or set your newly acquired diamond, all of our ring settings can be made for you special stone.

I don’t want a diamond. Can I order one of your rings for a gemstone?

Yes! Since our rings are built to order, they can be made for most any size or shape gemstone you’d like. If you’re in the market for a colored stone, please visit our store to meet with one of our Graduate Gemologists who may help you select the perfect gem. If you’re looking for a diamond-look alternative, we offer a complimentary cubic zirconia (CZ) for any of our rings.

Do you have diamonds available to see today?

Absolutely. We maintain an extensive diamond inventory for our day to day business that is available for viewing today.

Do I need an appointment to look at engagement rings or wedding bands?No. Simply visit our showroom during normal business hours and one of our friendly associates will be happy to assist you in finding your perfect ring.

I don’t know my / my fiancé’s ring size. How can I get it?Fingers change size throughout the day and not all ring-sizers are the same. Sizing a finger is more art than science. Please visit our store and one of our professionals can accurately size your finger. If you’re trying to keep a surprise hush-hush, you may bring us a ring the recipient wears on the appropriate hand and we will be happy to let you know its size.


What watch brands do you carry?

How often should I have to change my watch battery?

The original battery in your watch can last up to 5 years before needing to be replaced. Replacement batteries generally last 12 – 18 months.

How often should I have my automatic watch serviced / overhauled?

Your watch will tell you when it needs to be serviced. It may stop working, speed up or slow down, or you may feel a difference in its wear or in the movement of the winding crown. If you’re not sure whether your watch needs a service, please visit us for a complimentary assessment and repair estimate.


On-line Purchases

We make every effort to keep our inventory up to date and accurate. Although unlikely, it is possible that an item's price can change (due to the fluctuating metal and diamond market), or a pricing mistake can be made, and we reserve the right to modify the price of the sale, or void it altogether, if the customer doesn't want to purchase at the new price. In addition, it is also possible for an item to become unavailable before we get a chance to remove it from our site, and If this happens, we reserve the right to void the sale. In certain instances, due to the shape of the center diamond, or finger size chosen, a designer may charge a modification fee on a ring order. If this happens we will alert the customer and get approval before putting the ring into production.


How much will it cost to repair my jewelry?

Every repair is different and the amount of labor and materials needed to complete the work depends on several factors. For this reason, all repairs must be evaluated before a cost estimate can be given. A price will be given and your approval obtained before any work is completed.

Can I wait while my jewelry repair/modification is completed?

All repair work can be left for our jeweler and you will be contacted once it has been completed, polished, and passed quality control. This process generally takes up to 10 business days. Appointments may be made for simple repair / modification work / polishing on one engagement ring or wedding band per scheduling. Additional items must be dropped off.


Do you offer appraisals?

We offer an Insurance Appraisal service by appointment which can be scheduled by clicking here. The cost of the appraisal will depend on the number and size of the items to be appraised.

Do you repurpose / remake / reset older jewelry?

Yes! Please bring in your old or unworn jewelry and we will advise you on how to reinvent them into something fabulous.

Do you buy estate jewelry, diamonds, or precious metals?

Yes, one of our gemologists will evaluate your items and the owner will make an offer for purchase or trade-in value. If the item is currently saleable, a consignment option may also be offered.


Do you giftwrap?

Yes, any item purchased will come complete in a beautiful H.L. Gross & Bro. Jewelers box and may be gift-wrapped for no additional charge.

Do you offer gift certificates or a gift receipt?

Yes, gift certificates are available in any denomination and without expiration. Any item purchased may be accompanied by a gift receipt.

Can you engrave my purchase?

Yes, as long as the item you are purchasing is able to be engraved we will be happy to send it out for engraving.
