Rolex Guarantee

To ensure the precision and reliability of its timepieces, Rolex submits each watch after assembly to a stringent series of tests. All new Rolex watches purchased from one of the brand’s Official Retailers come with a five-year international guarantee. When you buy a Rolex, the Official Retailer fills out and dates the Rolex guarantee card that certifies your watch’s authenticity.

The green seal

The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has suc-cessfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.

Rolex presentation box

Every Rolex is delivered in a beautiful green presentation box that is both protector and keeper of the jewel that nests inside it. As the presentation box is also a symbol of giving, it is important, if you are purchasing a gift, that the recipient’s first contact with their Rolex sets the stage for revealing what lies within.

Eisenkiesel dial

This dial features hour markers in 18 ct gold, set with 32 diamonds, and a Roman VI and IX in 18 ct gold, set with 24 diamonds. The Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36 is presented with a dial made from eisenkiesel, a deep brown decorative stone used by the brand for the first time in 2021. Eisenkiesel is an iron-oxide, delicately veined quartz. The stone discs destined for the dials are cut from a block of raw material. Only those whose colour and structure fully satisfy the brand's exacting aesthetic requirements are selected. They will grace the dial of a Rolex watch, conferring it with a unique personality.

Fluted bezel

The Rolex fluted bezel is a mark of distinction. Originally, the fluting of the Oyster bezel had a functional purpose: it served to screw the bezel onto the case helping to ensure the waterproofness of the watch. It was therefore identical to the fluting on the case back, which was also screwed onto the case for waterproofness, using specific Rolex tools. Over time, the fluting became an aesthetic element, a genuine Rolex signature feature. Today the fluted bezel is a mark of distinction, in gold on this Day-Date 36.

18 ct Everose gold

To preserve the beauty of its pink gold watches, Rolex created and patented an exclusive 18 ct pink gold alloy cast in its own foundry: Everose gold. Introduced in 2005, 18 ct Everose is used on all Rolex Oyster models in pink gold.
